These draft and hold playoff rankings are based on the following scoring system:

• 4 points per pass TD
• 6 points per rush TD
• 6 points per rec TD
• point per 10yds rushing
• point per 10yds receiving
• point per 25yds passing

The rankings consider all playoff games including the Super Bowl. The analysis is largely based on:

• Expected number of playoff games (by team)
• Round-by-round matchup review
• Current injury status
• Team offensive system
• Individual player skill
• Individual player estimated workload

Example: Ray Rice's point forecast works out to 35.0
Given conditions on 1/3/2012, if the NFL playoffs were repeated over and over again, Rice would average about 35 fantasy points over the entire playoff period. In turn, the chance of Rice exceeding 35 in the upcoming playoffs is about equal to the chance of him scoring less than 35. If the Ravens get knocked out of the playoffs early, he won't reach 35.

Everything else being equal, the more playoff games a player participates in, the better his cumulative stats. As such, one of the keys to winning a playoff draft is finding quality players likely to compete in many playoff games. The Top-100 Cheat Sheet does just that. Kickers and defenses have been removed since scoring rules for those positions vary widely.
