While several teams surprised us today with inactives, none was bigger than Wes Welker being ruled out. As we said before, we look for Joey Galloway to fill in. Welker being out also hurts Brady and will give Ben Watson and Chris Baker more opportunities. In addition, Pats WR Julian Edelman should get some playing time however Edelman's ankle is not 100%
Also worth noting, the Pats are now down to four WRs in Galloway, Edelman, Randy Moss, and Sam Aiken. This fact alone could force them to try and run more against the Jets.
With RB Fargas out, Darren McFadden and Michael Bush will carry the RB workload for Oakland.
Keep an eye on the Texans TE Owen Daniels. With two WRs down, they will need him to step up in the passing game.
Rams inactive list includes: Anthony Smith, Craig Dahl, Roger Allen III, John Greco, Ruvell Martin, Victor Adeyanju, Darell Scott.
For the Redskins we see Kevin Barnes, Fred Smoot, Edwin Williams, Robert Henson, Chad Rinehart, D'Anthony Batiste, Anthony Montgomery and Renaldo Wynn as inactive.

As fully expected, Donovan McNabb is inactive for week 2. He will not play.

Chiefs QB Matt Cassel is out on the field warming up with full pads dressed from the waist down. Last weekend Cassel only warmed up with shorts on.
ESPN reports that Saints RB Pierre Thomas (knee) will be active, but "not very active" as he will be the #3 RB according to ESPN.
ESPN also reports that Mike Bell will be the Saints main ball carrier.
