The below 4for4.com playoff rankings are based on the following Performance Scoring System:

• 4 points per pass TD
• 6 points per rush TD
• 6 points per rec TD
• point per 10yds rushing
• point per 10yds receiving
• point per 25yds passing

The rankings consider all playoff games including the Super Bowl. The analysis is largely based on:

• Expected number of playoff games (by team)
• Round-by-round matchup review
• Current injury status
• Team offensive system
• Individual player skill
• Individual player estimated workload

Adrian Peterson's point forecast works out to 32.1
Given conditions on 1/5/2009, if the NFL playoffs were repeated over and over again, Peterson would average about 32.1 FF Points over the entire playoff period. In turn, the chance of Peterson exceeding 32.1 in the upcoming playoffs is about equal to the chance of him scoring less than 32.1. If the Vikings get knocked out of the playoffs early, he won't reach 32.1. However, the odds of the Vikings winning their first playoff game are rather good.

Everything else being equal, the more playoff games a player participates in, the better his cumulative stats. As such, one of the keys to winning a playoff draft is finding quality players likely to compete in many playoff games. The Top-100 Cheat Sheet does just that.
