MIA TE Jordan Cameron - Week 3, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Cleveland
Jordan Cameron posted a 5-49-1 day against the Patriots, but much of that was garbage time. His seven targets were encouraging, His match-up is also nice against a Browns team that just gave up 100 yards to Ravens TE Dennis Pitta, but we need to see more from Cameron before starting him.

MIA TE Jordan Cameron - Week 2, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at New England
Until Jordan Cameron can prove he can consistently catch a pass, you aren't starting him. He has a total of 40 yards his last two games against New England and had all of six yards last week. No thank you.

MIA TE Jordan Cameron - Week 1, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 at Seattle
Cameron struggled to catch the football this preseason. If he can't even do that, there's no way you can start him in Seattle in Week 1. He's not even a TE2 consideration for us this week.

MIA TE Jordan Cameron - 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside
Cameron is two seasons removed from a breakout 80-917-7 season in Cleveland. So does new head coach Adam Gase provide hope for a Cameron resurgence? Perhaps. In Chicago last season, Martellus Bennett and Zach Miller combined for 87-878-8. Gase also oversaw the best of Julius Thomas in Denver, with 43-489-12 in 2014 and 65-788-12 in 2013. If Cameron can even come close to that type of production, he could re-enter the TE1 conversation.

Fantasy Downside
Cameron has failed to reach 500 yards in each of the past two seasons. He’s also failed to score more than three touchdowns during that time, including in his first season in Miami in 2015. Miami was a team in flux last season with a midseason coaching change, but Cameron will still have to compete for targets. At best, it seems he will be the 3rd most targeted option behind Jarvis Landry and DeVante Parker. That leaves a small window for fantasy success.

Bottom Line
We have Cameron projected as a low end TE2 entering 2016. In leagues with 15 or 16 roster spots, he’s going undrafted, which is justifiable. He’s still somebody to keep an eye on though in the early season.

MIA TE Jordan Cameron - Week 16, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Indianapolis
Jordan Cameron continues to not be a major factor in Miami's offense and shouldn't be considered for fantasy purposes.

MIA TE Jordan Cameron - Week 15, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. San Diego
Jordan Cameron has had 35 yards or less in every game since Week 2 this season. He's also had just two receptions or less in eight of his 13 starts. Basically what we're saying is he's not good, and shouldn't be considered as a fantasy option this week or any week.

MIA TE Jordan Cameron - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. New York Giants
Jordan Cameron had just one catch for four yards last week as the entire Dolphins passing game struggled. Cameron's production has been low all season, however, and he's really not worth fantasy consideration.

MIA TE Jordan Cameron - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Jordan Cameron - Week 13 vs. Baltimore
Jordan Cameron has two receptions or less in six straight games. He's only caught one touchdown pass during that stretch, so there's really not much use for the Dolphins tight end in fantasy.

Friday, December 4, 2015 - 4:00pm
MIA TE Jordan Cameron - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at New York Jets
Jordan Cameron caught a touchdown last week and finished with two receptions for 21 yards. It was Cameron's second touchdown of the season. In general, Cameron isn't a heavily-used option in Miami's offense. He'll remain a weak play this week against the Jets.

MIA TE Jordan Cameron - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Dallas
Jordan Cameron has had one reception in each of his last two games. The once promising tight end in Cleveland has not found success in Miami. He's really a non-factor at this point.
