TB TE Brandon Myers - Week 17, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Carolina
Brandon Myers will replace Cameron Brate at tight end this week. He's a hard player to trust considering he has just seven receptions on the season. He had a big year in 2009 with the Raiders, but that was many seasons ago. Don't expect Myers to continue Brate's success.

TB TE Brandon Myers - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Brandon Myers - Week 16 vs. Green Bay
The Buccaneers placed Austin Seferian-Jenkins on injured reserve, which makes Brandon Myers the top receiving threat at the position. Myers was active last week against Carolina, but came away with no receptions on no targets. He's only caught two passes in his last five games. He's not a good option.

TB TE Brandon Myers - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Brandon Myers - Week 5 vs. New Orleans
With Austin Seferian-Jenkins back in the lineup, Brandon Myers became a non-factor in the passing game. He had zero targets against Pittsburgh, which means he isn't worth considering in the future.

TB TE Brandon Myers - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Brandon Myers - Week 4 vs. Pittsburgh

Brandon Myers is second on the Bucs in receiving yards (107) and tied for the team lead in receptions (13). That's about the only positive thing I can say about Brandon Myers.

With Austin Seferian-Jenkins expected back this week, don't look for Myers to make much of an impact. He wasn't a great player before ASJ's departure and he won't be one now.

TB TE Brandon Myers - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Brandon Myers - Week 3 vs. Atlanta

Rookie tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Falcons, meaning Brandon Myers draws the start. Myers had a productive Week 1 catching six passes for 41 yards on eight targets. Week 2 was a different story. Myers caught just two passes for 33 yards on two targets.

He did play on 96 percent of the team's offensive snaps, but he's simply not a focal point of the team's offense. He should be viewed as a low TE2 option against Atlanta in Week 3.

TB TE Brandon Myers - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Brandon Myers - Week 2 vs. St. Louis

Brandon Myers was targeted eight times (only behind Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans) in Week 1. His fellow tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins had to leave the game early, so the high number of targets could have been caused by his absence.

Myers caught a team-high six passes and a team-high 41 yards in the season opener. ASJ is expected to miss Sunday's game (he didn't practice on Friday) so Myers could be involved again.

It's difficult to trust Myers as a fantasy option after just one week, so it's better to keep him benched and keep an eye on him.

TB TE Brandon Myers - Week 1, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Brandon Myers - Week 1 vs. Carolina
Brandon Myers is listed as Tampa's starting tight end, but Austin Seferian-Jenkins is the receiving threat for Tampa at that position. Myers isn't worth a look.
