I just took over a team in my first keeper league (12 teams, ESPN standard, 1,2,2,1,flex). I'm able to keep 3 which gives up draft picks. The notable keepers are: Lacy, Marshall, Hurns, Langford, Jeffery. Which, if any, should I keep?

Ah, then it depends more on whether or not most owners keep players. I think the answer to that is "probably" in which case I'd probably keep Lacy, Marshall, and Jeffery. Those guys all have ADP's in the 2-3rd rounds, which makes them good value for your first three picks. If owners tended to only keep one player per roster, it would make those picks more valuable, but I'm guessing most owners keep 2-3 players, meaning everyone gets valued up a bit in the actual draft portion. You might get quality in the first round if you give up everyone, but you're likely not going to end up with 3 equivalent players if you give them all up. While none of those guys are sure-fire first rounders, they all are easily 2nd round value, making it a good idea overall to keep them. I doubt you'll have much first round talent in the draft.

It really depends what picks you will have to give up.

Just based on what I remember from last season and where they were taken, I'm going to assume maybe Lacy and Marshall will require giving up a high pick. Not sure if I'd do that.

But I'm guessing Hurns and Langford may come on the cheap. Possibly even Jeffery who I think was hurt last year for most of camp, but that's a little fuzzy.

If you know what picks you'll give up, maybe you can mention the compensation and we'll have a better idea of value...

It depends on how many I keep. If I keep 1 then that's my first round pick, 2 would be my first 2 rounds etc.
