In a 10 team std no flex $200 Cap league with A. Brown D. Hopkins, D. Johnson, K Cousins taking up $161 of space. Have J. Reed who is valued @ $23 on NFL.com that is used for valuations ( 10% high) . He is projected to be 40 points higher than TE 12-16 in the rankings that would most likely be my choices if I drop him. Leaves only $16 to fill 10 other roster spots that include RB 2 , 1D , 1 K , 1 K/D My question is : Is there better value in a RB 2 for say $18- $23 range that is in the top 90 of the 200 Most valuable players list. I realize it depends on your league to some extent. Also have T. Lockett who is developing some chemistry with R. Wilson but over valued @$10, projected for 140 pts. Thinking of cutting him and trying to sneak him back at less than half AV pricing as he is sort of under the radar so some extra cap money would give me flexibility to find some real value.

I like trying to sneak Lockett back in at half the price. I've seen him go that low in a low of leagues. Could bite you, but what's the point in having a "sleeper" or an "upside" guy if you're paying full price?

I think I'd be happy cutting bate with Reed and bargain hunting at TE as a means to upgrade the RB2 spot. I love Reed, but I have my reservations giving big money to TEs, especially since the top two guys (Gronk and Reed) have such shakey injury histories.
