Just had my draft last night and was offered the following trade:

My Marvin Jones Jr. for his Ameer Abdullah

My WR are: AJ Green, Alshon, B Marsh, and Wheaton.
My RB's are Ryan Mathews, DeAngelo, Sims, Coleman, McKinnon, and Ware.

I would think about this deal at least. Alshon is the key here. If he stays healthy you are loaded with your top three and Jones is probably your fourth guy. Alshon's injury woes would mean you'd need a solid replacement and Jones could be that (assuming you start 3 WRs). I'd worry a little about Wheaton as a guy you'd need to play a lot if Jeffery gets hurt and you make this deal. Would like to see more from him, he just hasn't really stepped up but seems like he get the chance this year.

That said, we are pretty high on Abdullah and after Bell comes back you don't really have a guy who is a solid RB2 with a potential big workload. Plus Mathews has injury woes himself.

Now, not saying I don't like your RBs. If your league is PPR, I'd feel ok about playing a few of those guys, but Abdullah could be that RB2 option for you I think.

In the end, weighing the positives and negatives, I think I'd do it just to bolster your RBs a little. Then, I wouldn't rule out trading DeAngelo, Sims, Coleman, McKinnon or Ware to the owners of their respective handcuff. That would maybe get you a WR back to balance you back out a little. You're in a good position here with some of those backs and the handcuff value they should have.

Thanks, Scott. You share my same concern, not only with Alshon but with Marshall (and now Green after last night) regarding injuries.
