Hey guys,

Had Barnidge and Allen available at 11.2. Saw that only 1 team still needed a TE so I drafted Tevin Coleman thinking 1 of those 2 would make it back to me. Well that backfired as someone took Allen as a 2nd TE and the guy that needed a TE took Barnidge so I took Bennett. Hindsight should I have pulled the trigger there? We play 1/2/2/1 and 2 flex (rb/wr) so my mindset was to load up on rb / wr since we play an extra flex than most. Also my rb core is injury prone and thought I needed as many as I can snag. Maybe I went too far though.

Here's what I wound up with. 12tm std drafting from the 2 spot.

QB: Eli
RB: McCoy, R. Matthews, Gore, Foster, Woodhead, T. Coleman
WR: Julio, Evans, Cobb, T. Benjamin, R. Matthews, T. Sharpe
TE: Bennett

DA still had me winning the draft, just looking for some 3rd party feedback.

Thanks guys,
Mike

In hindsight, sure I'd rather have Allen or Barnidge, but I think you're fine. Bennett should be a solid option with Brady throwing him the ball. Gronk has struggled with injuries in the past and even when he's on the field, the Patriots have figured out how to make two tight ends produce before, and Bennett is talented enough to make it work again.

Plus, 12 team league, I think there will probably be TEs available on waivers if Bennett ends up not working out. For example, with Watson hurt, someone in Baltimore is bound to step up. Likewise, someone in Miami might be valuable that we're not expecting if Jordan Cameron can't start catching the ball. TE is a position with some depth this year I think.
