Hey Scouts - ready for another year! I waited on TE in two leagues this year until late in the drafts, so I wound up with J.Thomas in one league. With news that he's out for the finger surgery for at least 4 weeks - I need to look elsewhere. First question - is J.Thomas worth keeping on the bench while he's out. I have 5 bench spots (would probably drop R.Helu). Some options available on WW are: H.Miller, V.Davis, D.Allen, L.Green, C.Clay, B.Watson, J.Cook, R.Rodgers, J.Amaro, E.Ebron, M.Williams. Who do we like of those guys? Should I just look to stream the position for the year? Any help/guidance would be much appreciated! Thx.

Well, I have him too in a couple of leagues because, like you, I waited and thought he'd be a good value. I may be a little bias, but I'd try to find a way to keep him. I think he'll be a red zone target and even when the Jags are down 40-0, I'm counting on his TD to make it 40-7 late in the fourth. You at least have some usable options on your wire. Vernon may have some value and Green could be a guy to just plug in for four weeks. I even like Clay a little. But there are plenty of options to stream if that's what you wanted to do.

I'd maybe at least try to keep him, but if you get into injury trouble and you have to dump him, so be it. If those type of options stay on your wire, you should be ok to stream.

My top 3 of those are Dwayne Allen, Ladarius Green, and Charles Clay. Green will be playing pretty much for his future the first 4 weeks, so I expect him to do well in that time without Gates.
