Hey guys, what is your take on managing Leveon Bell in auctions assuming the 4 game suspension? On one hand there is risk here, but in auctions is there an opportunity now? Going off your custom auction values Bell dropped from around $65 to $41. Last year there wasn't much drop off w/ DeAngelo while Bell was out. If I could pick up DeAngelo and Bell for less than $60, do you think that is value? Or would you avoid?
Could you help me calculate how may points LB + DW would get for the season if I played DW the first 4 games? Maybe that is the right way to make comparisons...
If you can get both for that amount, then I'm good with those values. I did that in a dynasty league last year and that worked out super well, although I know D. Will is gonna be a lot more valuable this year. Elite level play at the position regardless of who starts is pretty darn tempting to me. I share your thinking.
That being said, I'm awfully scared of Bell, so I might just spend my money elsewhere, maybe focusing on someone like Lamar Miller at ~$50 instead of trying to go 2-for-1. I guess it just depends what kind of a deal you can get. I might put D. Will up first and see if you can get him for under $15-19. If so, then jump on it and then get Bell later. Even if you miss on Bell, having Williams for that value isn't bad, and he should get you good numbers for at least four weeks. Bell, coming off a season ending injury, two straight seasons with drug suspensions... yikes!
