I don't usually draft a QB early. I detest doing it. I'm in a 10 team PPR league. If I end up with the 29th or 30th pick - this feels better than parting with a 21st or 22nd pick - and waiting until 39 or 40 for my 4th pick. Am I overthinking this? Isn't Luck a great value in Rd 3 (barring injury)? I'm not familiar with this "taking a QB early" strategy". What do you think? Thanks!

I think with the value there, I would keep Luck with my third round pick. It still allows me to get studs at RB and WR in the first two rounds, and jumping up two rounds from where I would usually grab a QB (5th) is pretty good to get the top guy on my board.

I always wait on QB because I'm not willing to give up a high pick for the guys at the top. Since I'm not giving up a high pick, I'm all over Luck in the third.

I guess it depends on your other options for keepers... Luck in the third seems like good value to me, and I'm like you - I take a QB 5th-7th rounds when I can at least get someone I want before taking what falls.

I would probably keep Luck if I had him at a 3rd round price tag. I like to draft quarterbacks later in a draft and have never drafted one in the first two rounds. I do however always keep an eye on the top two if they happen to slide into the third round, where I consider it as good value.

No other keepers. Just Luck. I am leaning toward keeping him. Two months to decide. Thanks!
