It seems like this years strategy is to go strong at WR at the beginning and Im wondering if I should still follow this strategy if it isn't PPR. Depending on my draft spot I feel that if Im not one of the first 4 draft picks Im gonna go 2 WR like Brown and Thomas but I'm worried that will leave me with a weak running back game which I feel could be bad in standard. Any advice on this like maybe go Antonio 1st pick then Murray and then Evans in the 3rd. And if you have any comments on where Gronk should be drafted in std leagues please let me know because Im too scared to take him early since its not PPR. Thanks.

The great thing about doing all kinds of mocks and leagues now that I'm at 4for4 is it forced me to use different strategies in order to get a feel for how each one works. I honestly didn't like the way my team came together taking a TE early, so I totally get your worry. If you do some mocks and you feel the same, it's a deep enough position that you'll get someone later on. Won't be Gronk-like, but should be good enough as long as you hit on your other picks.

I don't think you should go in telling yourself you're going WR-WR. I'm an RB guy, and I don't think there is anything wrong with going WR-RB to start a draft. That's probably the safest way to go. But like you said, depending on where you pick, I'd let the draft dictate who you take and just take the best guys at your first two picks. I will say I did a 4for4.com staff league last year and went WR-WR, but I missed on just about every RB and it killed me.

It's really just a matter of comfort, but like I said, I wouldn't go into your draft telling yourself you're going any direction no matter who is there. Leave your options open.
