Who would you rather have has your RB 2-3. Both have injury risk and upside.
I'll lean toward Mathews in a perfect world with no injuries just because I think he'll get more work week-in and week-out. He's really all they have in terms of running the ball. He probably loses some catches with Sproles and Barner around but in terms of workload I think he's poised to get a majority of the carries. and I think it's obvious when Sproles is in the game they will throw, but Mathews can keep defenses guessing a bit and is a capable receiver.
