I wrote earlier regarding roster decisions in a $200 salary cap std, scoring keeper type league. As previously posted I have [R. Wilson QB] [O Beckham JR, A. Brown at WR] [E. Lacy at RB] [T. Kelce at TE] as my core players. We use the ESPN's top 300 auction values so my core value is $173 leaving little to fill the 10 remaining roster spots. As mentioned in J. Paulson's pod cast the QB situation is rather close in projections after the first three, allowing one to wait until the later rounds in conventional drafts. I already cut A. Morris ($29) as I believe he is over valued for my remaining budget. I still have A Ellington @ ($11) but keeping him leaves even less money. I really hate to lose Wilson but I can not see keeping him @ $22 VS the cap and I anticipate I will have a choice at the QB's in the projected slots 7-9 ,11-12. Brady is already on a team with Luck and my guess is for a $1 he is not going to cut him as it is a defensive move.
I anticipate I would have projected ranking numbers 18 and down with the exception of J. Bell to bid on. I am really liking L. Blount, J Randle with T. Gurley as a bench player for later in the season although he may get too pricy. I think Ellington will be closer to two years ago as he started last season with a foot injury. The $11 seems to be a fair number for the projections but with the expected other choices out there I could wait till the other owners have depleted funds and may do better or not. I also have Jordan Cameron ($1) so could maybe drop Kelce ($6) to get someone like Walker, Hill, K. Rudolf or another. Is 35 plus points over 13 games for $4 or $5 additional cap space, worth it if the projections are + or minus 10% and it can win one close matchup? Would those extra dollars get me someone who could produce an extra 35 points in another position that would more than likely be a RB 2, 3 or 4 ?
It is hard to anticipate who will be available in the draft pool of our league but I believe I need to keep my core with the exceptions I mentioned. I am beginning to see what Stan Bowman is going to face this summer when Kane and Toews get the big contract money. Any favorites and ideas ??

I like your core, and I'm okay moving on from Wilson, even though I love the Seattle quarterback. I like Blount and Ellington in that $11 range as well.

I think I'm okay pairing Jordan Cameron with another $1 TE in order to save $5, and I'm okay dropping Wilson to get a guy like Romo or something at a fraction of the cost. That would help you stomach the RB situation, and I agree with you dropping Alfred Morris.

That being said, the Kelce move isn't going to move the needle for you. The Wilson move will. That frees up $20, which can really help you move on a #2 RB and really strengthen your depth. I think that's the way I would go.
