I have read 4 different ROS rankings including J P.'s and all have him higher than guys like J. Howard and D. Washington. IN the recent Pod Cast with C. Harris it seemed there was guarded optimism about D. Washington. I decided to pull the trigger on him and swap him for R. Mathews as it appears that there is a three to 4 headed RBBC in Philly, injury to Mathews or not he did not see many touches for 2 games in a row. More than once comments about his injury history have been the reasons for not liking him as a FF player. So what is with all of the optimism in the rankings considering the Eagles have two proven ( Smallwood, Barner) 1 & 2 down backs with a very good 3rd down back (Sproles) as evidenced in the Steelers game.

I may not be the right person to answer this because I'm always very down on Mathews. He's on my strict "do not draft regardless" list every year. I'm adding Smallwood in most leagues, and I'd much rather have Howard than Mathews. I think you can make that argument. I think Washington has risks too, but I'd probably rather have him as well. Again, I tend to be against the grain on RM though.
