I posted the below question a few weeks ago and got very helpful responses from both experts. However, the overall tone seemed to be wait it out until the last minute. There has not been much positive news on either player since I last posted. I'm now in the last day of deciding and still pretty torn with Jordy just returning to practice today and the resurgence of Christine Michael and Rawls still not playing in a preseason game. Hoping to get your perspective now with the most recent updates.

Rawls will be a 14th round keeper and Jordy an 8th. Can keep for two years and lose 2 rounds the following year (Rawls 12th and Jordy a 6th next year if i decide to keep again)

Here's my initial post-

I have a few weeks to see how it pans out, but hoping to get initial thoughts. My keeper (can only keep 1 player) is due in a few weeks and I have the sixth pick. The players in top 10 ADP who are likely to be kept are Odell, David Johnson and potentially Allen Robinson - League is 12 teams, .5 PPR (standard scoring) for positional - 2 WRs, 2 RBs, 1 TE, 1 Flex. 15 rounds

Which leads to my question - do I lean towards keeping Rawls as a 14th round keeper or Jorday as an 8th round keeper?

ah, yes, I remember this post. I know Jordy is coming back to practice today. He may be limited but a good sign he's coming back.

This may be just offseason talk and we even posted a news story about how Michael has looked good other years only to disappear, but I'm a little worried about this situation. I would think Rawls still have value and if I had to guess he'll get his carries and probably short yards and goal line, but it really seems like Michael is going to be involved. Big question is how much - like a Hill/Bernard or something less.

I think Jordy has become a much safer keep. Now, Rawls as a 14th doesn't really kill you from a draft pick standpoint should he not work out. I think in the end he'll come out better than a 14th-round pick might but you would take a hit possibly not getting production from a keeper.

I think at this point I'd have to lean Jordy just based on what we know - which really isn't much on either player. Jorday, if healthy, should have his usual role.
