My league is a 1 ppr league. However qb completions are .5 pt making them alittle more valuable. When would you draft a qb in this type of league? And who would be your top choices. Thanks

You can check out our completion projections by hitting the tab at the top. It's kind of interesting to see how the list changes.

The good news is a lot of the guys I remember seeing near the top - Ryan, Flacco, Rivers, Stafford, Carr - are guys you can probably wait on if you wanted to. I'm not sure how their completion points would factor into their overall fantasy points, though. I think that's something you can program in the custom rankings and maybe get a better idea, but the guys I listed above at least get a little boost I'm sure.

I think because of this, I'm not sure I'd really change my overall strategy all that much. I'm not sure how the history of your league is with drafting QBs. I assume they maybe go earlier? I still think you can wait if your league is a 10 or 12 team size. I'd probably try to target one of the guys I listed as maybe a backup and maybe a take a backup a littler earlier than you might normally. You probably still want to target the guys who put up the TDs and yards though.

The two names that stuck out to me the most were Brees, who we project to throw the most completions, and Big Ben, who we projected fourth. I don't think these guys will necessarily go when guys like Cam, Rodgers, Wilson and Luck go - presumably as the top four in the position - but maybe a round after those top four go, starting looking to maybe grab Ben or Brees.

As long as you consider QB a position you don't want to really reach for too early, but also don't want to miss out on, I'd maybe wait until a run starts and then try for Brees or Ben and then also look at our rankings and maybe target one of the ones I listed above, assuming their completions give them a nice boost up the rankings.
