I have Palmer and after listening to the latest Pod cast I am considering picking up Ryan dropping Stafford in a std. 6 pt. / TD passing league. With a long trip to Buffalo and the home team giving up 42 pts to the Jets, will they be up to shutting down the Cards if that is even possible? Concern with Ryan is H. Jones is making the trip but not 100 % so the big plays may have to go elsewhere VS the 32nd ranked defense. Also the game is in the dome so will likely be a shot out this time.
I really like Matt Ryan this week, so I'm okay with that. I think Stafford isn't a bad option either, but I think I'm totally okay streaming your backup QB and starting Ryan over Palmer for this week. I think having a guy like Palmer who you can generally start week-in-week-out affords you the luxury to drop someone like Stafford for Ryan and play the matchups.
