The rankings have Matthews lower than Evans, but I think Matthews is going to breakout this year.

I'm also worried Evans' TDs were a little fluky. Vjax had almost the same yards and catches, but no TDs. So, I can see Evans loosing some TDs to VJax, which diminishes his value for me.

I think Matthews can build on his 900 yd 8TD rookie season, and don't think 1,200yds and double digit TDs is out of the question for JMatt.

Am I crazy if I take Matthews over Evans?

Thanks!

I don't think it's crazy. I don't feel the same way about the two as you do, but I don't think that's a crazy thing to think. Both carry risk, as well as really high upside, but Evans is thus far the more accomplished of the two. The thinking is that VJax is probably more likely to get a little worse year to year at this point in his career, while Evans continues to be the better red zone target as he improves even more in his second season. Also, the QB play should be better in Tampa this year than it was last season. I don't know for sure that that'll be the case in Philly.
