My thoughts:
Lacy Pros: Contract year, has shown well this pre-season, easier schedule, goal line back
Cons: not a pass catcher
McCoy Pros: Run heavy offense, pass catcher, "bellcow" with Karlos Williams released
Cons: a lot of mileage on those legs, tough schedule.
So I'm slightly leaning towards Lacy. Would love your thoughts on between the two.
McCoy is going earlier and we have him ranked higher, but I seem to have bad luck with Shady. He tends to get hurt when I draft him. Everything is there for him to succeed though, and he's probably a little safer than Lacy.
That being said, Lacy is like a bad habit that I just can't quit. Every year I love him, and I'm the same way on him this year. He's been going in the third round in some leagues, and I've been grabbing him when he slips that far.
