I am in a 12 team .5 PPR 1, 2, 3, 1, Flex keeper league and can keep 3. My options are Cooper (3rd), Odell (6th), White or Carr (7th), Hill (10), Julius Thomas (13), who would you keep? I am looking at Cooper, Odell and Hill, but waiting to see White in action. I have the 4th pick in the draft.

On the other hand I do have a trade possible to send Odell to another owner for Lamar (7th) and trade 4th round picks (they have the 10th pick in draft). I am not sure if Lamar/AJ is better than Zeke/Odell, thoughts?

Matthews isn't enough for me. Miller is a nice piece, but I need two nice pieces at least to give up OBJ, personally.

So you're basically giving up Cooper and a third and moving down in the first, and you're getting Lamar Miller and a 7th back? That sounds like a good deal to me. I think I'm okay with missing out on AJ or Dez to land Cobb or DT. I'd love to see you get AJ, but Lamar Miller adds some extra pop to your lineup and for a seventh round keeper tag, I like it.

So the same deal, but with you giving up a 5th instead of a 6th and you getting Jordan Matthews. That second round swap is still the sticking point for me. You aren't really gaining a third round pick here since Robinson takes that up. So at best, the third rounder is a swap for you to move up in the round from where you are now.

So the way I see it, you're going from OBJ to Robinson for a move up in the 2nd and 3rd round, plus you're giving up a 5th and a 13th round pick for Jordan Matthews. It's just not enough for me. I want another legit asset in addition to Robinson if I'm going to give up OBJ. But that's just me.

Vs. A.J., OBJ, Cooper, Hill, and the late 2nd round pick... I still keep OBJ.

It's not a bad trade, and I think you can justify doing it, but I need a godfather offer for me to part ways with any of those top three receivers. I might do it it if it was the second round pick outright instead of a swap, but I doubt the other owner would do that.

It's not a bad trade and ARob is a pretty nice piece. Plus, it's kind of like you're only giving up one asset, since you're moving up in the third and trading the pick that you'd be giving up for OBJ anyway.

However, when I think about it from the perspective of what you may be getting with that extra third round pick and that move up from second, I think I'd ultimately rather have OBJ. In keeper leagues like this, most drafts end up looking like they start in the the 3rd or 4th round, making guys like Danny Woodhead or Eric Decker your pickups. When I think of it that way, would I trade OBJ for ARob and Decker? I don't think I would.

I think I'd rather have Odell as a 6th round then Lamar as a 7th. That's nothing bad on Lamar, love that value, but this seems like a season where we should be trying to get one of those top three receivers at all cost.

I think Beckham is the no-brainer, like you've said. I agree with Jeremy Hill in the 10th too, as I think that's tremendous value. I think Cooper is probably the best option as well. He has an early third round ADP, so that's pretty good value for you.

Great keepers! Should set you up for a nice season.

Ok so the last trade never happened and now the offer is Lamar(7) and Jordan Matthews(13) for Odell(6)? Thoughts???

Thanks again

Thanks again Brandon, really appreciate the feedback. I have definitely gotten my money's worth from just this conversation and there's so much more to the site!

So this owner is pretty relentless on making a trade of some kind. The latest offer is Cooper(3), my 1st and 3rd for Lamar(7), his first and 7th, thoughts???

I don't like missing out on a AJ or Dez at 4 but could land a Cobb or Demaryius at 10. I have been all about the zero RB strategy and could still do it with Lamar at 7.

Thanks again.

Yeah I don't think I could get him to do that either, but good point. He has now offered me ARob(3rd), his 2nd and 3rd round picks and Jordan Matthews (13th) for Odell and my 2nd and 5th, thoughts?

Thank you again. Sorry to keep asking about this, but live your points and completely agree. However the only thing I feel different on is I still have the 4th pick and likely to land AJ so then I would have AJ/ARob/Cooper/Hill and an early 2nd pick, I think that sets up fairly nicely, thoughts???

Thank you Brandon, much appreciated.

Now the owner has come back and offered ARob (3rd) his 2nd and 3rd round picks for Odell (6th) and my 2nd and 6th picks? I have the 4th pick and he the 10th. It's gives me a keeper and a pick in 3 and an earlier pick in 2, but my concern is the potential drop off from Odell to ARob...thoughts?
