RB Keepers: Eddie Lacy, Jeremy Hill, Andre Ellington
WR Keepers: Demaryus Thomas, Brandin Cooks, Golden Tate
We start 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex. Peyton Manning is my QB. I'm concerned about his age, and I just saw Russell Wilson is rated higher. I have 2 ideas:
1) Trade Ellington or Tate for Russell Wilson. This gives me 2 great QBs, a great backup/bye week replacement for this year, and I'm all set for the future.
2) Trade some players I'm dropping for Wilson (I'm sure I can get him). Then I can Keep Wilson, drop Manning, and keep the 6 RB/WR mentioned above.
3) or I can do nothing, cross my fingers and hope Wilson gets dropped and just draft him. Decisions, decisions. Thanks guys!!
I'd have no problems with you taking a shot at Wilson. I kind of agree with you about Manning. I wouldn't say he's done, but I think his days of big numbers every single week might be.
I kind of like the idea of having Wilson and Manning as your combo. That's probably more a luxury way to go and it probably makes more sense value-wise to keep those six, Manning (or trade dropable guys for Wilson) and then draft another QB later on.
I may think about trading Tate for Wilson and do it that way just because I like the idea of having that combo + the other five guys heading into the season. Like I said, may not be the best way to do it from a value standpoint, but I kind of like the security.
My next option would be just trade some dropable guys for for Wilson and keep him over Manning with the other six.
Forgot to mention - this is a PPR league. Thanks!
