Never thought i would consider benching brady especially for brian hoyer but the lack of pass catcher and playing the DEN DEF has me wondering.
Couple things:
Playing the guy that has NUK so thinking if Hoyer does put up a stinker, so does his best player most likely.
I also have Gronk, so worried that I could have 2 duds on my roster which would all but cost me the match.
I just don't know if I can trust McCown as an option over Brady. I have a similar decision but my backup is Palmer so I feel pretty good about going that direction. I just don't if I can sit Brady for McCown but that's how I usually play things. When I try to get cute I usually fail so I tend to lean toward the studs.
McCown could have a field day against the Ratbirds.... am hopiung he loves my TE Gary Barnidge!! That said, not sure I would Bench Shady Brady.... Gronk will be used a lot and if healthy I think Keyshawn Martin could be huge, but he is (Q) at this time.
You know, Brady is just too good. On a rough day, maybe he's not #1, but he'll probably still be top 5. I think last week was the first time he wasn't in the top 5 for the week.
The games have looked a little rougher without Lewis and Edelman, and now Amendola. DEN is #12 aFPA against TE's. I see them targeting Gronk alot now.
I say play Brady.
Scratch that...Hoyer was just taken off the wire. How about McCown now? Or am i just trying to be too cute on this?
