Let's say it's a 12 team, 3WR, no flex league. $200 budget. Also, let's say my original plan is to go heavy on WRs, and save $ at the QB and TE position. If I'm price enforcing, and end up getting Peyton Manning for $11 (valued @ $15), but my original plan was to spend only $1 on my qb, where should I look to make that money back? On my WR3? RB2 and/or RB3? Or at what point do you toss out your original draft plan and just go with something else?

I hate to give the stock answer, but it depends on the value that's out there. haha If you allot X amount of money for a certain spot on your roster and you're seeing players of similar value going for cheaper, than you might want to jump on that, and allocate that money elsewhere.

If the reverse occurs, as you're saying with the QB spot, my first thought is geared toward whether Peyton Manning was worth grabbing for $11 if you're planning on using the money elsewhere? Manning is valued at that point, but if you've got a 3WR league, it might behoove you to go ahead and get a combo of like Eli and Rivers for somewhere in the $4 total range instead. My second thought would be to drop it off your RB3 spot, or fill your bench with a combination of upside guys at $1 and/or veterans that nobody wants for $1 (i.e. Brandon Coleman in the former, and Anquan Boldin in the later).
