Am I the only one not very excited by the majority of the top players? Outside of AB, OBJ, and Julio Jones who are awesome, who excites you at the top? Assuming I go heavy WR early, which I plan to, seems to be lots of negativity with Hopkins, AJ, A-Rob, Dez, Marshall, etc. They just don't feel like "Best Player on your team, 1st round guys" as usual. We use an auction, and the top guys are going $60+ which scares me and I would rather stay away from. So cheer me up and tell me why i am wrong. Thanks guys.
I think it's fine if you don't want to overspend on guys that you're not loving. I'm with you on the top three guys, though I also love Gurley and Hopkins. Some of those fringe 1st round guys might be had a little cheaper - thinking of Lamar Miller, Brandon Marshall, Dez - so I'd just try to find value where you can in your auction. But no, I don't think you're crazy. I think a big part of it is the RB spot. Usually, there are several backs that look good each year. This season, there's really only five, and there are questions with four of them.
