My league starts 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE and we use a flex, which can be a RB, WR or TE. In the past, I've set Full Impact to 2.3 starters for RB & WR and 1.3 for TE. My thought was to choose the best flex option, regardless of position. However, while researching value based drafting, I read that only 1 TE reached the baseline for the flex position. (Gronk) Assuming that's correct, which I believe it is, would it make more sense to change the settings to 2.5 for RB & WR and 1 for TE?

I agree too. The league I run I offer 3 flex positions so technically one could start 4 TEs if they wanted to. But I found that outside of Gronk, Graham and maybe Olsen, it just doesn't pay off. Maybe in certain matchups if you happen to have 2 of those 3 guys. But outside of that, unless it's desperate situations with byes, etc., I think it's kind of rare you'd want to start 2 TEs if you didn't have to.

Absolutely. I think that TE's in the flex spot are usually not relevant, unless you go after two of them early on, in leagues where there is also a separate TE spot.

The top guys that would be flex worthy (Jimmy Graham and Gronk really) are going to go early enough in the draft, that most people won't be considering them for the flex spot. I would absolutely change your settings to reflect this. In a standard lineup league, which it looks like you have, I always go 2.5, 2.5, and 1.
