I am drafting 7th tomorrow in a 10 team PPR Keeper league. Many top guys off the charts. Already have Benjamin and Jordy Nelson as my 9th and 10th round keepers. Start 2RB, 2 WR and FLEX.

Trying to forecast my first 2 picks--Pick #7 and #14 of the draft. Here are the guys who I think will be best available:

For Pick #7 - McCoy, AJ Green, Gronk, Keenan Allen
For Pick #14 - Charles, Lacy, Dez, Jeffery, Woodhead, Murray and Cooks.

I'd like to get at least one Big Boy receiver from this group--Green is really my first choice. But should I consider going Gronk with pick #7 if he is gone?

And then for pick #14 --maybe try to get the best available RB either way?

A little confusing to forecast but if you could give me your thoughts I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

All that makes sense to me and I think you have a good plan - just not a lot of control over it. I would agree to target Green first and my 1A pick may be Cooks. With two guys kept, I don't think it's a reach to take him as your first WR as long as you like him there. Obviously it would be great if he got to #14 but I'm not sure he would.

Since you already have two WRs in the fold, I'd have no issue with Gronk if he's your second pick, or McCoy for that matter.

I would think at least one of those RBs would make it to #14. Maybe Woodhead is the only one but that's ok in a PPR league. Murray may make it as well.

But that's how I'd play it. Green, Cooks, McCoy, Gronk for that first pick and then whatever is leftover at 14 for a position of need.
