I've been practicing mocks using DA...I'm generally floored by the potential of DA, but every once in a while I am scratching my head over DA's recommended picks.

Paulson's latest QB sleeper article suggests drafting a QB in later rounds unless a top tier guy falls. DA, using 4for4 projections, consistently recommends LUCK in the 2nd or WILSON in the 4th for my optimal lineup. This isn't a huge issue because I can easily draft the WR/RB I want, but I'm wondering if the projections are off? I'm also not opposed to drafting LUCK in the 2nd if his value is actually that much better.

In general, it seems like the projections and rankings are slightly off compared to 4for4's rankings....QB order is slightly off, and DST seems drastically different.

I've also come across situations where DA recommends players that are clearly ranked lower than a handful of other players in the same position.

Has anyone else had issues or concerns when comparing DA's projections with 4for4. I'm planning on using DA this year in my drafts. It seems like an awesome way to get the best value from 4for4 projections. I just want to be confident that it's using the correct projections.

As far as synching up issues, I would defer you to the Draft Analyzer help:

Or you can try the support board at https://getsatisfaction.com/draft_analyzer

However, I think your question more falls in line with rankings vs. strategy. It's kind of a subtle difference. Andrew Luck is worth a second round pick, and he's fine at that point, but what John is saying is that from a strategic perspective, he recommends waiting until later due to the wealth at the position in the later rounds. It's easy to to supply rankings that indicate Andrew Luck is better than Mark Ingram, for example, but it's harder to put rankings together that indicate whether it's better to have Andrew Luck and Reggie Bush or Mark Ingram and Matthew Stafford. Make Sense?

I've compared the 4for4 rankings/projections and some of the differences don't make sense in my opinion. So I'm with you... Can we still use PC Draft this year?
