Seems like a very specific WR talent to be brought in and the fact that he said the Ravens had been talking about bringing him in for a few weeks even before Steves injury is a flag. Do you guys think he may actually be the WR to own now? Stepping into the WR1/Steve Smith role.
I just have this gut feeling about this guy, I want to drop Someone and get him now before he has a 70+ yard TD game on Sunday.
Aiken is a clear #2 guy, he's really just not an attractive pick up. Really he was just a scout team player on pats and then got to be the place holder until perriman came back which is not happening now.
Thoughts?
I worry about him this week, trying to pick up the offense and gain chemistry after just a week, but I do like him long term. I think that when Smith comes back, Aiken's job as a WR2 on the team will be in jeopardy because Givens can play. If you've got the roster space, then I think adding him is a nice option. Perriman was dropping passes in practice before getting hurt, so I think Givens has a really good chance to beat out Perriman this year.
I feel like his season is over and he's to head strong to go out this way because he's already said this is his last year. So they have yet to make the IR announcement.
Seriously... 4 fractured bones in his spine do you think ANY doctor would ever clear a person for a contact sport with in the remaining few months?
