Do you anticipate a reduction in Rb scoring/yardage with the total ban of the chop block? It is still discretionary on the part of the officials, but he NFL wants it gone. With the penalty and extra yardage, it seems like a bump for pass plays. Maybe I'm reaching and looking to justify zero Rb (lol). Is this even worth discussing?
I guess for me it depends how many of these were let go and not called compared to ones that were called, even if it was some version of a chop block and not a true one - if that makes sense. I have a feeling maybe there was more of this going on in some form and that's the reason it will be taken out.
But that's funny you're looking to justify zero RBs... I'm kind of the same way. I know it's the strategy to use, but I'm struggling to get myself to do it even in early mock drafts that don't mean a whole lot. Just doesn't feel right. Plus, there are too many good RBs now when I go to draft.
