I just threw him out in 3 leagues and I watched the Jaguars stink up the place tonight.

After the game I looked at Bortles stat line and he had 3 TD's and 333 yards and almost 30+ fantasy points!

SHOULD I HAVE REMORSE IN THROWING HIM OUT. His schedule moving forward looks horrific!

I mean.... should I have him as my backup QB if I keep a backup? I just don't know how I can rely on garbage time points week in week out.

Yeah, he had the garbage points all last year, which is why his value was inflated this year too. I still like Winston and Carr and Big Ben better overall. I think I'd consider dropping Dak and picking Bortles back up. I like Mariota, so I might hold on to him.

Just know that he DID look horrible until like the last 10 minutes of the game. Hard to depend on that each week.

Oh...

League #1: I have Mariotta and Big Ben (dropped him for Mariotta)

League #2: J_Winston & Carr - dropped Bortles for Carr)

League #3: J_Winston Dak (dropped him for Winston)

Exactly Cacman! Garbage points counts in my league! So what to do?!!! What to do? Can you really rely on garbage points every week? Cuz that's what it will have to be when he faces Denver, Minn, Houston 2x, Buffalo and Tenn again!

I saw what you saw...a terrible QB rack up 'garbage' points in the second half. He looked aweful (and being an A-Rob ownwer even worse than aweful!). There's clearly something wrong with his mechanics and throws....but, he scored over 30 points in my league when it was all said and done. I think it depends on who you have as your starter and who you'd be dropping. As poor as he looked on tv, his stat line was better than what my starter (Rodgers) has been producing...besides last week. Garbage points are still points!
