I was somewhat disappointed with LaFells pt total Monday night but it was enough with Amendola (who I spent $8 VS my $ 200 cap off the waiver wire) and Blount to offset my opponents big game from L.McCoy.
With all of the injuries in NE at WR I thought LaFell and Amendola would get most of the snaps. A. Dobson showed up and if not for the injury would have syphoned off a lot more of LaFells targets. but I am just looking for an injury insurance fill in now that the bye weeks are over. As of now I have 5 WR as A. Brown, O. Beckham, and M. Bryant were on a bye. I am looking to get rid of the 2 NE receivers as one is banged up,not much of a TD threat, and I need his salary to get Rawls. LaFell may have target issues. Funchess projects to be a solid asset with upside as he is a big target and is slowly being infused into the Carolina offense.

I'm okay with that. I think in a vacuum LaFell looks like the better guy to have on your roster, but with all things considered, I like what Funchess does for your roster better. I think Funchess has upside, he's cheaper, and he's going to be a guy that ideally won't be in your lineup anyway. I like that move for you, especially when you factor in getting Rawls out of the deal as well.
