I'm aware you don't do kick return projections, however I would like to give a few guys a bump. I was hoping you could help me a little and make sure I'm staying conservative enough. If you think it's too early in training camp to have this worked out yet please say so!

Cordelle Patterson is obviously the #1 guy for this, I doubt he will do 1393 yards again. I also think he is going to be a bigger part of the offense. For him I was going to forecast 400 yards.

Golden Tate another one I think will be more involved with his offense that he has been. He did 585 with the Seahawks. I was going with 150 yards.

Antonio Brown did 409 last year. For some reason it seems like they still use him on punt returns even though he is their best receiver. For him I was going to do 250.

Jacoby Jones did 1129 between punt and kickoffs. I also wouldn't put it past him to take at least one to the house. For him I was thinking 400 and a TD.

The guy I'm really on the fence about is Julian Edelman. He did 374 last year. Leave him alone or give him 100 yards?

Anyone else you think that would be a huge mistake not to forecast a little? I'm not a fan of P Harvin and his glass jaw. With D Jax I'm just uncertain how they will use him. I'm just not a Tavon Austin fan.

I don't want to over do anyone as Brandon suggests in his article. In this one particular league they give .1=1 yard and there is always a stud or two that maybe wouldn't be otherwise.

On a side note love the new site look. Much easier to navigate and in general seems nice and organized.

Another thought James, early indications out of Pittsburgh are that Markus Wheaton has the inside track at WR2 and KR. If that holds, then he gets a nice uptick in value as well. Emmanuel Sanders had 268 KR yards and over 700 yards receiving in a similar role last year.

(I think we need a Draft Board update to help with links and paragraph spacing)

Hi James, glad you're enjoying the new look! I think Patterson will end up with more than 400 yards, though I get the conservative approach for marking him up. He was the best in the league at the spot last year, and it'll be hard for Minny to stop using him there. I think it's still early to know too much for sure, as teams are still battling it out at these positions. Tate is someone who could easily be back in that 500-700 yard range, or he could not return kicks at all. I personally feel like it'll be the former, but he's definitely a guy to be concerned about staying in that role. I wouldn't project much with Brown, but then, he's a stud anyway so I don't know how much he's going to lift up. I'd leave Edelman where he is right now. The Pats are so tough to gauge. It is worth noting that they are one of the few teams with an unofficial depth chart posted right now, and they have Edelman slated to still return punts. Other than the guys you mentioned, the most interesting camp battles to watch are Ted Ginn, Dwayne Harris, and Brandin Cooks. If those guys stay RS and increase offensive roles, then they get a bump in a league like yours. Also, keep an eye on whether T.Y. Hilton continues to return punts. If he does, he'll go up a few spots for you. Good luck, sounds like a fun league!
