12 man PPR 7th Draft Spot

We start 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, No Flex. I have the 7th spot and lets say the top 4 RB's go (Charles, AP, Mccoy, Forte), then Calvin Johnson. The Value Chart says I should take D. Thomas. Would you do this? or would you go for a RB like Ball or Lacy?

Thanks

Joe, I actually agree with Brandon here... Doesn't mean I personally still wouldn't take a RB, but the smart move is Thomas because you start three WRs. I haven't always done the smart thing in that spot though. You could still even get Ball or Gio in the second round, will be close and probably need to get lucky though.

This is one of those questions where you may get a different answer from Scott. I've been going WR in the 5th-8th spots, whereas I know Scott would probably say to go after Lacy in this situation. I really like Thomas and while Denver's offense will be hard-pressed to repeat last year's numbers, it should still be highly potent and Thomas is the best WR on that team. With your league mandating 3WR's I think it makes Thomas make additional sense.

3 wrs starting, get some studs. 2nd tier wrs are more boom or buts where as 2nd tier rbs will give you a steady payout.
