I have Jordan Cameron and Julius Thomas at very good prices in a 14 team Dynasty league with 32 player rosters and a salary cap. An owner has offered me Jordan Reed and Lorenzo Talifero for Julius Thomas and my 3rd round pick next year. It is a seemingly fair trade, and I do have Bernard Pierce, but my initial plan was to start both Cameron and Thomas as my TE and Flex. That plan worked pretty well for me early last year. They have the same bye this year (week 4) so the trade would help me with that issue as well. Would you do the trade?
I would run away. I might consider that for Cameron, but definitely not for Thomas. I don't think Reed and Taliaferro give you what either of those guys do. Reed might be great, but you're also giving up a pick. That could turn into a valuable rookie for you.
I just don't see it... I'd rather hang on and double up your TE spot each week.
I don't think I'd do that deal. I like Reed but he does have concussion issues. Thomas is a top-three difference maker at the position. I certainly wouldn't give up a pick on top of giving up Thomas. To me it seems like too much. I'd worry about your bye week issue later and see how things shake out first.
