Hello again Gents, Natural Born Killers here looking for some insight from the brain trusts of 4for 4.
We use ESPN auction values in a keeper type league where one can carry over players to the next season taking the appropriate cap hit for them. : I have Alshon Jeffery, Antonio Brown, just drafted Julian Edleman, and Marques Colston. Edleman and Colston are bye week/ insurance players plus I like Edleman in the week 16 match up VS the Jets secondary. I have E. Lacy, A Ellington, A. Morris and Shane Vereen( also nice week 16 matchup). I really do not need any running backs but in our recent draft several owners targeted Carlos Hyde, Khiry Robinson, Jeremy Hill and the Andre Williams. I am speculating that although they have three other backs, these selections are for future dynasty type consideration. I am debating dropping Marques Colston and adding Christine Michael even though he will not see much action this year, but Beast Mode is a free agent next year and probably does not figure into Seattle's plans. We have no limits on 12 of the 15 roster spots as to type of player so 5 running backs is OK and I feel that barring injury, my top two wide outs should carry the WR position. I am open to Terrance west and James White but I also have Russell Wilson so a nice combo down the road. I also have Cameron Jordon and Dennis Pita so if another receiver is required Pitta can go bye bye.
I'm okay with that, but I'd rather grab Terrance West. I hate to see you drop Colston though. I might just drop Pitta now and then worry about TE later if need be.
I have no faith in Ben Tate's long term health and West has been a powerful, angry runner coming out of Towson.
OK Brandon Terrance West it is and Pita can go in his place. Jordon has a bye week 4 so I either play week 4 without a tight end, wait on West until week 5 or drop Colston and get West this week and pick up Colston after week 5. I picked Colston up for my $3 bid price and it appears that no one has any faith / interest in him at this point.
