I'm in a 14 team league and decided to hold off on defense and do defense by waiver wire. However, several teams got multiple defenses and now the pickings are slim, which makes me think I should try to make a trade for a top defense. I have really good RB depth and would like to trade Woodhead (my 5th RB) for a good defense. Assuming the other owner would be able to use Woodhead as an RB2 or Flex and has multiple defenses, is it reasonable that I could get a top 5 defense? Or should I look to use my RB depth to bolster another part of my team?
I wouldn't trade for D just yet. I bet some of those teams who took two will end up having to drop one sooner than later as injuries start to pop up. I'd be a little more patient. If you make a trade for another position, maybe you can sneak a defense in there as a throw in...
