that is Minnesota's schedule through 8 weeks. Will they be favored in ANY of those? I can easily see them starting off like 1W - 5L. I think that if the season is a lost cause early on, they'll go with Bridgewater instead of Cassel. In deeper 2QB leagues, does Bridgewater then have more value than Cassel? I have Rodgers and Cutler, who share a wk9 bye. I can drop J.Gordon and pick up either Cassel or Bridgewater (the only other starters are Henne and Carr). I guess I'm trying to decide if Bridgewater will be the starter come week 9, when I'd need him. What do you think?
I actually agree with you... The deal with guys like Cassel and Henne is they are going to have to win to keep their jobs, and I'm not sure either of them will. I think once things start to slip away for this season, or coaches feel the team needs some sort of change, that's when we'll see the rookies.
The problem with Bridgewater is the Vikes could very well hang around if they can get an extra win or two in there, like if they can knock off Atlanta at home and potentially be 2-2 at that point? I think the longer they hang in there, the longer they kind of have to stick with Cassel.
