I'm in a 10 team standard scoring league which starts 3 WRs. I traded my 1st and 2nd round picks for 3rd and 4th round picks this year (and will do the reverse in 2015). Here's what I ended up with:

QB: Romo, Dalton
RB: A. Morris, Ellington, Sankey, A. Williams, Ingram, J. White
WR: Nelson (keeper from '13), Floyd, Patterson, Cooks, Jennings, Gordon ('15 keeper potential)
TE: Cameron, Clay
DEF: 49ers

My goal is to make the playoffs this year, which means 8th place or better. What do you think my chances are?

I think I remember you asked about doing this, right? I think you did very well actually and you should have a good chance to make the playoffs if these guys pan out. Having those two extra 3rds and 4ths are pretty key because there is a lot of RB talent in that area. I'm guessing you really waited on QB, but I like that combo. I think Romo is going to put up good numbers if he stays healthy. It's a big if I know, but he could reward owners who took him late.

You have a ton of upside guys like Ellington, Sankey, Ingram, Patterson and Cooks. Those are all guys I've been targeting myself so I may be a little bias about the potential of your team...

Yes I asked this question before - good memory! I was the last person to take a QB, but pretty happy with the results. Definitely focused on the upside people in the hopes that enough pan out to fill out the starting lineup. Still plenty of waiver wire work to do this year as always, but with this team I feel like I can compete most weeks. Thanks for the feedback!
