Hey Guys,

My "big" money league draft is on the horizon, and I hope to continue my top three finishes from the past 4 years. Anyways, my question is regards to at what value is Gronky Kong a steal?

I ask this because, I'm 3rd in the draft order, and the first pick is really a no brainer. Currently, in the mocks I've done sometimes Gronk is going before it snakes back to me(which I think is overdrafted), however, there are times where he can fall me to back at my slot in the 3rd round. If he falls to me in the 3rd, is that a point where I should take him over someone like Ellington? Or would taking him at the end of the second be a better bet?

That third round pick is right around Gronk's ADP, so I wouldn't consider him a steal there, but rather good value. It really depends on what you do in the first two rounds, and how much you like Gronk. I think in the 4th round he's an absolute steal, but in the early 3rd round, he's about right. I'm personally scared of Gronk, so unless I went RB-RB with my first two picks and there weren't any top WR's on the board, I'd probably grab Ellington or a guy like Antonio Brown/Jordy Nelson. But if you like Gronk, and you're okay holding your breath at the injury report, than Gronk can win leagues for you in the late second early third. With your draft position, if you want Gronk and he's there in the second, take a look at the backs and WR's. If there's 6 you like, then go ahead and grab Gronk, but if a guy like Julio Jones or Montee Ball is sitting there, you may want to go that route.
