Aloha Scouts, great to be back!

I play in a 12-team, PPR league with a flex position that can include a QB.
The pitfall however is that scoring for QB is as follows.
Pass yards: 1 point / 50 yards
TD: 5 points / TD

Comparatively, Rush/Receiving is 1pt/10yds and 6pts/TD.

Reviewing last years scoring only 4 QB made it in the top 25 and they were mostly of the running variety, Cam, Russell, etc.

The problem is that most of my league still treats this as a 2QB roster and many are taken very early.

Should I bite and take a Cam or Russell if I can in the first round or should I wait and hope to get a Tyrod, RG3, or Mariota?

Guys like Tannehill, whom I had last year just didn't cut it. Not enough TD or yards.

Mahalo!

I think I'd still wait. If Cam/Russ are there in the 4th round, I might grab one, but I think I'd hold off and instead target the guys you put out there and also Winston. Guys that run as well as throw the ball should be helpful in your league, like you said, and all those guys have a high ceiling as well. Tannehill might improve this year too under Gase, so I might still consider him as a backup. With your scoring system, I think you'd be wise to go ahead and draft away from the crowd at that position.
