I have a decision to make and rankings aside as they seem to provide predictability as close as the weather forecasters. If one were to look at the matchups, Crowell will have an easier time and his floor is quite low and the ceiling is very high providing he gets the football frequently. Gordon will no doubt loosen up the defense therefore Crowell and West should run wild on the birds from the south. Ellington is not Jamal Charles but he will get his opportunities just that I feel they will be fewer and less productive as the 12th man will help make the game very close based on the past history. Add in no Palmer and no Fitzgerald who help balance out the Cards offensive capability and low double digits is likely for Ellington. I also have Morris but he has the toughest matchup and the skins can't stop anyone so they will be behind at the onset.

I don't love Ellington's matchup either, and Crowell definitely wins the matchup battle out of the three backs you mentioned. Still, Ellington impacts the game in multiple ways and is so versatile that I still think he has a nice game. Seattle is a tough place to play, but I think Ellington is kind of a must start each week. Crowell is nice if he definitely gets the touches, but Cleveland worries me on that front.
