This is a very detailed 3-team trade, so I'd love any input. Here are the details:
You start 2WR/2RB/1 flex (can be a TE). 19 roster spots + DL. You keep your best four guys with no limit to the amount of years they can be kept.
My roster

RB- M. Ball, Bradshaw, Dougie Martin, Fred Jackson, Mark Ingram, Hillman
WR- Marshall, Julio, Roddy, J. Gordon, T. Smith, J. Hunter
TE- Gronk and Cameron

The guy with MEGATRON (Mike) is looking to move him, but he needs a true RB1. I don't have that to give up. The guy with Shady (Dan) has Demarco Murray and Rashad Jennings but has weak WRs. It's a three team deal which would get me MEGATRON, the guy who needs a RB (Mike) gets Shady, and I compensate the guy giving up Shady (Dan) with multiple players. He want's Marshall. I'm doing everything I can to keep Marshall, so my WRs would be Megatron, Marshall, and Julio with a respectible duo of Ball and Bradshaw.

My offer was this:

Roddy, Dougie Martin, and Josh Gordon. Dan wants Gronk or Marshall badly---but he has Ertz and I have Cameron, so giving up Gronk wouldn't be horrible especially given the Pats offensive woes right now. Mikey has Julius Thomas and Jason Kelce in addition to having Keenan Allen, Emmanuel Sanders, Calvin and Alshon (which is why he needs to move one of those guys, because he's got a stud on the bench every week).

So here are my questions:

1. Is it worth sacrificing my depth to upgrade from Marshall to Megatron (I'm leaning no)

2. Is the addition of Megatron over Roddy White in my flex spot good enough to compensate the loss of Gronk---but remember I'd have Cameron and either Kelce or Ertz to fill in for Gronk.

3. My current 5 keepers are: Monte Ball, Gronk, Julio, Marshall and Josh Gordon. If I move Gronk and Gordon, I'd have to fill those last two spots with Calvin and either Cameron/Ertz/Kelce/Dougie Martin. Which set of keepers (current or potential) gives me the best long-term outlook?

Brandon Niles 4for4 Scout

I would offer Dougie and Gronk, and then throw in Gordon if he demands it. That would give you Calvin, move Roddy to the flex spot, and you let someone else worry about Gronk's longterm health and NE's fledgling offense.

That gives you keepers of Ball/Marshall/Julio/Calvin and either Gordon/Ingram/Roddy

I call that a win.

I understand that there are a lot of moving pieces but the culminating assessment I have when I make these types of trades is this....
I compare all the pieces leaving my team to all the pieces I bring into my team. Is it value gained? Did I improve my team? Who the players came from doesn't affect the value of the players I get.
Just my opinion.

@Ellis... I'd love to spell it out that simply but this is a 3 team trade so it's kind of difficult because I'm moving and receiving assets from both guys.

Thank you guys for the help.

I completely understand the need for a background at times but ultimately the bottom line is your lineup.
Can you clearly outline the trade...."I give up......; I get back......."

***You keep your best 5, not 4.
