12 team std scoring with bonuses for long TD and fairly high scoring for points against on Def. We have shallow rosters with max 5 rb or wr. Start1 rb 2 wr and 2 flex

I have AP, SJax, Khiry, Blue at RB. Meanwhile I have Dez, harvin, k Benjamin, VJax, and Cooks at wr. I have Heath at TE after Rudolph injury and Bengals and Chargers at D. I have mostly been playing 1 rb and 4 wr.

Tate and R Matthews are free agents. I want to put a claim in for Tate. I will probably drop Chargers but they have some good match ups coming up.
1. Is that right move or is it time to give up on Peterson? Defenses score a lot in our league.
2. Is Ryan Matthews better to wait for than one of these guys?

Thanks!

I think I would. I've seen him get dumped in a lot of leagues already. I think there is some legal options he may or may not have to try and come back, but seems like a longshot. I can see how any time allows him to play.

I like Sankey and Mathews if you can get one or both of them. Obviously Mathews is a stash guy but news today out of Tenn is Sankey is going to get more reps and time, which, I can't believe has taken this long. So if you have to pick one of the two, Sankey is a more immediate impact it seems if all goes well this week.

Tough decision but I (think) that I would (thankfully I got Forte and am not facing this decision). Mort and Schefter both said they would drop him in fantasy since it's highly unlikely he plays this year.

I'd pick up Tate, since Mathews, since he's not already owned, should still be on the waiver wire next week. Then this weekend you can get an idea of how many touches to expect out of Tate rest of season.

Sorry about the auto correct in title. Also, Sankey is also free agent.
