Giovani Bernard vs Alfred Morris in the 3rd Round who would you take?
I'm liking what I'm hearing from Washington -he's catching more and is valued. What I don't like about Morris is his O-line and he's not in on 3rd down (that may change).
I'm worried about Bernard being hurt. Has he gain muscle this year? Because last year, I saw a 300 lbs D-linemen land on him and hurt him.
Buzz is always positive this time of year, so I wouldn't put a ton of stock in the word out of Washington. What you're looking at here is upside vs. consistency. Bernard has the most upside, whereas Morris is most likely to get enough carries a game to stay valuable. In the third round, I'd probably gamble on Gio, even though his job is a little more crowded. I like Morris, but Gio I think has a much higher ceiling.
