Hey! Keeping Eddie Lacy (losing a 4th round pick) and have 5th overall pick. AP, Lesean, Jamaal, Calvin and Forte will all be gone. I like Ball but I'm hesitant after all the 1st round busts last year. I am leaning on going with Demaryious Thomas or Dez Bryant. Might be a bit of a reach but it sets me up with a legit RB1 and a legit WR1. If I do that what running backs would you target the rest of the draft for my RB2 spot. It's a .5 ppr league. Thanks!
I think if you can come out of your draft with Lacy and one of those two WRs you'll be in great shape. I don't think it's early to take Ball there, but I agree with you he does come with risks. But getting a legit RB1 and WR1 seems to be the way to start a draft this year. As for later targets, there are a bunch of options. Not sure if Bernard will be there, but I also love Vereen and Ellington, perhaps even Pierre Thomas a little. Those are all guys in our top-22 who I think would excel in a PPR league.
