I need to keep two players. $200 auction budget. Half PPR
I am already keeping Antonio Brown for $26.
Do I keep Jordy Nelson for $31, or Dez Bryant for $38
I could also keep Big Ben for $2, but QBs only get 4pt for TD, so I think one of the two WR would be a better value for me.
Thanks!

To me, they really aren't worth more in an auction league since your keepers are still going against your budget.

What I would do is get an idea how much your maximum amount to spend on your top guys is (this is usually about 70-80% of the cap on your starting lineup), then back off your keepers so that you know how much you can reasonably spend. That may inflate what you can overpay for guys depending on how good a value your keepers are, but unless those guys don't count against your $200, then I don't think it automatically inflates, you know?

I'm with you guys on Jordy and Brown... seem like the right picks to me, and you can get some bargain QB's for only a few bucks.

The more I read about the Steelers O, the more I like Ben and want to target him this year I think... That said, not sure how you feel about the Ben-Brown connection on your team. That may not be something you'd want. I don't know your league, but I would consider Ben if a lot of teams end up keeping a QB too and the position is thinned out for the auction draft. If not, then I agree with you about leaning toward not keeping him...

I think at first glace the obvious pick is Bryant but I would really consider Nelson and saving that little bit of money for other areas. I would have to go and look back, but for some reason I seem to think Jordy was more consistent last year? We know Dez is the big-play, WR1 guy but I think he put up some clunkers too. Our projections for both are pretty similar which is why I might lean Jordy to save some money.

I thought about the Ben-Brown connection. It didn't bother me too much last year. This is the first year that we will have keepers, so I can't gauge what positions will be thin this year, unfortunately.
You reinforced my thoughts on keeping Jordy and saving the $7. In our league, Jordy actually finished as the #3 receiver with 283 pts , and Dez was 4th 273 pts so I think they could be close again this year. And, because this is an auction League and there will be 24 players removed from the pool, is there a way to account for this when using the full impact custom auction values? In other words is there a way to account for those missing players when trying to budget? Would the remaining top RBs be worth a few dollars more for example?
