I am in a 10 team std league. I am having a difficult time deciding on if I dare start Lacy VS the #7 run defense this week. I just do not trust the Packer OL for run blocking . Or go with Vereen VS Oakland's 30th def. but he may see limited snaps like last week due to shoulder injury. Or roll with J. Hill who I just picked up. If Hue Jackson holds true to his word and likes what Hill did versus a below average Falcons defense, he should give Hill the same or more snaps VS a Tennessee defense ranking 31st against the run if I interpret your ranking chart correctly. I have been burned twice on Lacy and it cost me last week so until the Packers OL shows me they can block I do not want to just blindly put him in my line up because he is Lacy and your rankings show him 11th. I know the consensus in your organization is preaching buy low and keep the faith baby on Lacy but Detroit is another good Def and the probabilities of a Turkey for Lacy loom rather large.

I'm risking it on Lacy. I think Detroit's run defense is okay, but it's also faced the Giants and the Panthers so far this year... not big time rushing attacks.

Hill and Vereen I like, but I'm siding with Lacy. He should get plenty of touches, but I understand not having much faith in a terrible line. Also, Detroit is a better matchup than the Jets or Seattle was.

I hear you on Lacy, but I believe in rolling with your stud guys. I understand he's burned you and you have some other options. I don't consider myself good, or lucky, at getting cute with matchups so I like to roll with the studs as often as possible to eliminate any decision making. But that's just how I do it. We always say to go with your gut in the end. Too many times in the past I left my best guys on the bench to see them go off and it ruins my week...

I like Vereen, but he's been just as frustrating to me. Seems like if they have a lead, he's not going to get his passes and if they start to trust Ridley again that's going to hurt his value too.

Hill is probably your best option between he and Vereen. With a lack of WRs this week, they should run the ball a ton, and Hill may even get more work as I think they will use Gio in the passing game to make up for a lack of targets at other positions.
