GB RB Tyler Ervin - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at San Francisco

In what has been the strangest year in the NFL let alone fantasy football, here we are talking about the legitimate fantasy relevance of Tyler Ervin. With Aaron Jones possible to miss with a calf injury and both Jamaal Williams and AJ Dillion being placed in the reserve/COVID-19 list, Ervin and 2019 sixth-round pick Dexter Williams are left to shoulder the load.

Whether or not Jones plays, Ervin is still a relevant play, as Green Bay probably would not give Jones a full workload right off the bat. If Jones is out, then we can assume Ervin would get the bulk of the touches since he’s been on the active roster all season with Williams remaining a healthy scratch. As a satellite RB, Ervin would be a solid play in PPR leagues and should be viewed as a low-end RB2.
